They come to Days of our Lives, they go from Days of our Lives, they come back to Days of our Lives. We’re talking about Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna (Leann Hunley), the dashing, frequently dead Count, and his daffy, wacky, never boring, sometimes bride.
Days of our Lives Polling
They certainly have plenty of reasons for staying in Salem. The question is, should they? Close to 7,000 viewers gave us their opinions:
Welcome Home!
A welcoming 74% of you would love to see Anna and Tony ‘A-tone’ (see what we did there?) for being gone for so long by promising to stay put. Tony needs to get to the bottom of the SteVano (Stephen Nichols)/Robo-Chad (Billy Flynn) disaster before more people are locked up like Gabi (Camila Banus) and Kate (Lauren Koslow).
And Anna is just a delight to have around under any circumstances. There are few couples in Salem who make viewers smile just by showing up onscreen. You never know what’s going to come out of Anna’s mouth. All we know is, we need more of it. Whatever it is.
One and Done
A smaller 26% are over it. Hard to care about a couple where the guy has died and died and died. And she’s mourned and mourned and mourned. Not to say it wasn’t amusing at times.
Not a lot of soap widows are known for dragging their late husband’s ashes around in their purse. But it made it hard to care about their love when Tony obviously doesn’t care enough about it to let her know he was still wandering the land of the living.
Anna and Tony are better in small doses. So why don’t they hightail it back to Europe, and check in on Carrie (Christie Clark) and Austin (Austin Peck) and Noah. And only come back when we miss them. Which isn’t now… yet. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
