The week of February 18, 2019
So long supercouple. Billy Flynn and Kate Mansi head off the canvas as Chad and Abigail DiMera on Thursday, February 21, 2019, after their alter egos exchange “I Do’s” — again, in front of their Salem loved ones.
Flynn has played Chad since 2014. Mansi portrayed Abigail from 2011 to 2016 and returned in 2018. She won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role on the soap in 2017. The door is being left open for both to return at a later date.
Asher Morrissette is back as Thomas DiMera for the Chad/Abigail nuptials on Thursday, February 21.
Griffin Kunitz recently turned up at the DAYS studio and posted a photo of himself behind the scenes. Griffin and Aaron Kunitz, of course, shared the role of Johnny DiMera from 2009 to 2014. At this point, Johnny’s return is just an unconfirmed rumor.
