Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of Our Lives? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.
The week of April 22, 2019
Arianne Zucker, who was ‘killed off’ in a fire as Nicole Walker late last year, is heading back to the soap. Her first airdate is Thursday, April 25. Word is the actress has signed a new contract with the soap, which means she’ll be staying put for a while.
There’s also another leading lady returning to the canvas: Vanessa Williams, who was written off the show in November of 2018. At the time, her character, Dr. Valerie Grant, left Salem and beau Abe (James Reynolds) behind to take a chief of staff hospital job in Washington, D.C.
There’s no word why Val is returning to town or how long she’ll be back. Look for the actress to begin airing next month.
Ernesto J. Reyes wrapped up his run as Ramon, the Mexican cartel member who held Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) at gunpoint.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
