Days of Our Lives Christmas Preview: Salem’s Strange Holiday Season

There have been so many rumors about the huge secret Days of Our Lives plans to spring on fans to coincide with their 54th anniversary on the air this coming November 8, 2019, and one of them involves a time jump. But where will that leave the Christmas season in Salem if it’s true?

Christmas on Days of Our Lives

According to the Jason47 DAYS Website, there is no need to worry. Considering the usual accuracy of this source, fans’ minds should be put at ease. Here’s what Jason47 is reporting about it.

“Viewers will be getting to see some newly-created flashbacks of the Christmas that took place off-screen during the one-year time jump. In the coming months, look for more Christmas clues to be released, as well as the return of the Horton ornament attendee list!”

While there isn’t much one can count on in the chaos of our current world, watching as the Hortons put their ornaments on their tree at Christmas time is something that has proven to be a comfort to viewers over the years. But with this rumored time jump, it could have gotten lost in the shuffle. Thankfully, it sounds like that won’t happen.

It’s shaping up to be a very emotional holiday season, especially for Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). After all, it looks like she may have a new lease on life thanks to Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) heart — if they can warm up the cold dead one that’s currently residing inside poor Gabi (Camila Banus).

Grateful Hortons

And what about Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers)? Will they be newlyweds by then? Jack (Matthew Ashford) is back in the fold, now that he has his memory back and has reunited with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and the kids. Not only that, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) saved Julie, so will he be welcomed at this year’s festivities?

As you can see, there is way too much happening surrounding the Horton family so missing this particular Christmas tradition could have broken a lot of already fragile hearts. Looks like there will be even more reason to be thankful for Days of Our Lives this holiday season. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
