The super bad guys, AKA The Terrible Trio, may have been neutralized on Days of Our Lives, but there are plenty more where they came from.
Today saw one villain already in Salem re-emerge from his good-guy persona while another one arrived from Mexico. Deimos took his bad self all the way to New York to hunt down Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), and Theresa learned that her fabulous life is about to go up in smoke because of a blast from her naughty past.
A Higher Calling
It was almost laughable to see Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) dressed as a priest and almost hear his daughter’s confession. We doubt any father really wants to hear any intimate or messy details about their daughter’s sins but that’s okay because Theresa heard his voice and recognized him right away – and made fun of him for the cloak and dagger routine.
No matter, he was there to share some dire news with Theresa – apparently Mateo, the drug kingpin she used to be involved with and escaped from – knows where she lives and wants her back. Say WHAT?!? Good thing he warned her since Mateo showed up two seconds later.

Wasn’t it fun to hear her speak perfect Spanish to the arrogant crime lord (“I’m more good looking, wouldn’t you say?”)? Finally, a story for Theresa we want to see – and yet we got her after this episode of her life. As an aside, thank you Sonny (Freddie Smith) for asking Brady about Theresa looking frazzled because then we got this hilarious response from Brady as explanation: “Theresa lives on the outskirts of frazzled, it’s how she’s wired, basically.”

On the Hunt
In New York, Chloe’s mom Nancy (Patrika Darbo) had to endure Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) trying to find her daughter.
It was obvious he had no idea who he was dealing with if he thought she’d just turn over that information to him. “Why don’t you try this on for size, Mr. Big Shot Kiriakis? Get the hell away from me, and you leave my daughter alone,” she seethed in the most menacing tone possible. You could practically hear viewers everywhere yelling, “Go Nancy!”
Odds and Ends
It was pretty great to see Roman (Josh Taylor) there when Marlena (Deidre Hall) woke up, calling her ‘Doc.’
Some fans may have forgotten that the only reason John (Drake Hogestyn) calls her that is that he thought he was Roman for a while – and that was Roman’s nickname for his former wife. Roman should have been involved in the Orpheus story, and it was a travesty that he wasn’t since he was the one who shot Orpheus’s wife back in the day – not John! (And Soap Hub will point that fact out till the end of time.)
