Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, July 10 features a trying day for two Salem villainesses. Eve did serious damage control and Kristen’s plans to reclaim her father’s company went off the rails!

More Shocking Cover-Ups
Claire may be in treatment but her drama lived on. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) had trouble adjusting to all the facts and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) had to cover all her tracks. The commissioner had the phone and knew what she had to do — erase all the evidence. She was about to when Jack (Matthew Ashford) walked in and ruined her plan.

He was sympathetic to her plight but set a few things straight. He forced Eve to drop the charges against Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) but not without an exchange.

She lost the battle but she can still win the war. They staged a press conference where Eve announced Ben was a free man but pinned the whole mistake on Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Eli (Lamon Archey).

The Pieces Kept Falling Into Place
Speaking of the former commish and her trusted police sidekick, they were busy putting the pieces together about Ted’s (Gilles Marini) disappearance. Hope said she saw the necklace on Chloe and heard it came from Xander. She also relayed that strange bit about thinking Ted’s phone was in Nicole’s room.

Eli dropped a bomb by bringing up the 9-1-1 call about Ted possibly being murdered. Something is shady and they vowed to get to the bottom of things.

Ted Made A Confession
Speaking of Kate and Ted, he slipped up about being buddies with Xander and his part in Holly’s faked death came out. He told Kate the whole sordid tale and she was appalled.

Those two were lucky to be alive. Kristen held a knife to Xander’s throat and told him to carry out the hit and he refused. She’s on her own with this one. The scene was cut short with a call from Stefan and she reluctantly had to let him go.

Get Out Of Here!
Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Gabi (Camila Banus) were at the club and boy, were they mad. Nicole was supposed to book the DiMera party but Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) had not heard a word (she did know about Gabi’s secret plans though, and she offered to help her out). The clock was ticking and they reached their wit’s end.

“Nicole” was in big-time trouble with Gabi and Stefan. Not showing up for meetings, neglecting her duties, and now failing to plan a party did not sit well with either of them. They decided it was high time she was let go so Stefan fired her. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
