The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, July 10 features an episode of shock, suspicion, and hot tempers. Paul launched a full-scale investigation into Calvin’s death, Chelsea shook in her stilettos, and Lola finally said exactly what’s on her mind!

Mama’s Home
Jill (Jess Walton) was back and had some questions for Billy (Jason Thomason). First, why wasn’t she invited to his non-wedding ceremony? Second, what is going on at her house?

Esther (Kate Linder) is gone and there are takeout containers everywhere. He could only answer one of those. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) is back and Esther went to be with Bella.

Unclear and Suspicious
Speaking of Kevin, he was called to Adam’s (Mark Grossman) aid and forced to break into the GCPD. Adam wanted to know all about the investigation into Calvin’s death. They were shocked to read the autopsy was inconclusive.

That pesky report will haunt Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). She and Nick (Joshua Morrow) came back as quickly as they left and without Connor. She decided it was best to keep him where he is while she sorted out their life.

They were not back at Nick’s mansion long before Paul (Doug Davidson) came knocking. He had questions for Chelsea about her hubby’s suspicious death.

Backstabbing All Around
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was at the top of her game and broke all the good news to her daddy. She told him about her plan to take over Dark Horse and he was as proud as a peach.

Her day only got better from there. She found out Phyllis may just be stealing from Adam. She planned to warn him but when he slung one too many insults she zipped her lips and kept walking.

The Next Big Thing

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) decided to make Lola (Sasha Calle) another one of her pet projects and brand her as an internet culinary sensation. Lola (Sasha Calle) was excited but Celeste (Eva LaRue) balked.

She put down Lola’s timing, screen skills, and even her outfit. Boy, was she shocked when Lola reached her breaking point and put Celest in her place!

Farewell, Mallory
Jack (Peter Bergman) had one too many gut-wrenching experiences. He had a hard visit with Dina followed by finding out Mallory’s (Wendy Benson Landes) dad died. Not only that, but she is now moving near Seattle to be with her children.

It was a lot to take in. He just got to know her and now she’s heading out of his life. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
