Are Days Of Our Lives Fans Hoping For a New Man For Their Fave Cop?

Hope Williams was born on Days Of Our Lives. Her dad, Doug (Bill Hayes), was in love with her half-sister, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), though married to Julie and Hope’s mom, Addie — whom he was fond of, too.

But then Addie helpfully died, leaving Doug a single dad. Hope was played as a little girl by Natasha Ryan. That’s who the flower girl was at Doug and Julie’s inevitable wedding. Then she had one of those boarding school inspired growth spurts and came back as a teen played by Tammy Taylor.

Tammy’s Hope didn’t really set audiences on fire, and her biggest achievement was not being killed by the Salem Strangler, whom she was also accidentally dating.

It wasn’t until Kristian Alfonso took on the role — and hooked up with one Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) — that the character became a front-burner fave. Fans have been invested in her happiness for more than 35 years. And over 2,000 of them have remarkably strong feelings about whether or not a new man should enter her life.

Literally, one vote separated the 50% of the audience that wants to see Hope with Bo only from those who were more open-minded. This half of you would probably have voted to have Hope interred in Bo’s grave if given a choice in the matter, like the pharaohs. How dare Hope even consider moving on with her life!

Too Close To Call
And then there are the 50% who don’t want Hope to turn off love forever. Sure, Bo was awesome — but he also wasn’t the only fish in the sea. OK, so maybe Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) was a psycho and Rafe (Galen Gering) a dud.
