Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Roman Gives Hope A New Suspect!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for February 2 features Roman and Anna telling that her friend has been up to no good and may have murdered Andre.

Incident At A Funeral
Hattie (Deidre Hall) crashed Andre’s funeral, letting them think she was Marlena acting a bit nutty. Of course, being Hattie, she eventually went too far and Kate (Lauren Koslow) realized the truth. A melee happened and the casket fell on Vivian, upsetting her when Andre’s hand touched hers.

Big Distraction
Will (Chandler Massey) told Hope (Kristian Alfonso) that John Black is dangerous. He was about to tell her more when he saw Hope’s ring and realized he’d seen it before. He told her Sami said it was given to her by EJ, but Hope brushed it off as similar rings.

A New Clue
Roman (Josh Taylor) told Anna (Leann Hunley) that John traced the note to Statesville – meaning Hattie (Deidre Hall). Anna asked what Hattie could have against her and Roman mentioned her obsession with him.

Roman and Anna told Hope they had another suspect – an old friend of hers — Hattie. As they that happened, Chad and Stefan arrived with Hattie in tow. Hattie and Anna went at each other. After breaking them up, Hope talked with Hattie.

Rafe (Galen Gering) questioned Stefan about the missing hour in the security footage. Stefan (Tyler Christopher) said he was upgrading the system for an hour – so it was a coincidence. Just like Gibbs on NCIS, Rafe proclaimed he doesn’t believe in ‘em.

Paul (Christopher Sean) tried to confront John (Drake Hogestyn) but when Marlena arrived, he chickened out. After Paul left, John comforted Marlena but he stopped short of telling her his secret.

Paul found Will and asked if he told Hope about John and Will admitted he didn’t get the change. Paul was concerned he was going to do it before they had all the info, but Will reminded him he’s scared for Steve.

They decided to focus on whom John’s reporting to. Paul reminded Will that John’s a trained ISA agent. Will insisted it’s the best thing they can do and Paul agreed, impressed at Will’s old reporter instincts kicking in.

In the Hot Seat
Earlier, Rafe was relieved when Carrie (Christie Clark) said she won’t say a word about his night with Sami but suggested he tell Hope before Ciara lets it slip.
