The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, February 2 features new twists are busting out all over!
North By Northwest
While Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was out of town, J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) bonded with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) over music and the song J.T. once wrote a special girl for Valentine’s Day.
Parenting done for the day, J.T. continued looking for the culprit responsible for hacking into Fenmore’s website. He told Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) he has a name: Alexandra West. Neither woman knew who that might be, and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) claimed ignorance, as well.
Later, however, a disguised Chelsea cleared out “Alexandra West’s” bank account… minutes before J.T. figures out who it really belongs to.
Who’s the Boss?
Devon (Bryton James) was taken off guard when Hilary (Mishael Morgan) invited herself into his place of business on the assumption that she will now be a high-ranking executive. Devon pushed back and the two sparred. Hilary eventually blamed it on starting fertility treatments. Like she wasn’t exactly like this before.

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) admited she admires Hilary’s drive, as she and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) tried to figure out how they’re going to work together.
Building Bridges
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) were unhappy when they felt they’re being overcharged by a contractor who thought he was building a Newman tower, and not affordable housing.
The contractor was offended by their insinuation. So Nikki offered him a hotel room key and they went upstairs. Guess the guy takes alternative payments?
