Days Fans Weigh in on Sonny Kiriakis’s Future

Fans of Days of Our Lives are thrilled that Sonny (Freddie Smith) is back in Salem. Your hearts were broken along with his when his husband Will was murdered.

But now Sonny is back, and you couldn’t be happier. Soap Hub asked fans if they think this stay in Salem is permanent. You certainly made your voices heard.

Sonny Days Ahead
With over 4,000 votes, a whopping 83% believe that Sonny is here to stay. You probably realize that he has plenty of reasons to be back in Salem, especially considering his parents Justin (Wally Kurth) and Adrienne (Judi Evans) are living there as well as other relatives. But not only that – you know that Paul (Christopher Sean) is around and he could be enough to make Sonny want to stick around. There’s plenty more for Sonny to experience, and you’re excited to watch it unfold.

Cloudy Weather
It seems that 10% are unwilling to commit to an answer. You know that Sonny was devastated when Will died, and he might have too many reminders in Salem. While it will be great to reconnect with his folks and even Paul, it may be too much for him to handle. You can see it going either way.

Dark Days
A smaller group, about 7% of you, doesn’t see any kind of future for Sonny in Salem. Sure, he could be working at Club TBD, dating new men or visiting family but in the end, you don’t see it being enough to keep him around. Sonny has been through too much. He deserves everything he can get but Salem might hold too many bad memories for him.
