After 13 years as Gabi Hernandez, it’s a wrap for Camila Banus. The actress, who filmed her last scenes with the soap in April, made her final onscreen appearance on Thursday, November 9, when Gabi had her bail hearing and was remanded to Statesville prison to await trial for Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) murder. Banus had been open to remaining with the soap, if a new shooting schedule could have been arranged that would have given her a little more time off. Unfortunately, DAYS could not oblige.
Martha Madison bid farewell to Belle that same day. She wrote a message to fans on X (formerly Twitter).
Steve Mize has been cast as Dr. Pierce. Look for the physician to be involved in a storyline with Tina Huang’s Melinda Trask on Wednesday, November 15.
