The week of November 2, 2020
Cameron Johnson debuts as Theo Carver, Abe’s (James Reynolds) son, on Friday, November 6. The character, last played by Kyler Pettis, has been off the canvas since 2018 when he moved to South Africa for rehabilitation therapy.
Meanwhile, Vanessa Williams will be returning for another visit as Dr. Valerie Grant, Eli’s (Lamon Archey) mother, and Abe’s ex-girlfriend. Williams last aired, when Valerie attended Eli and Lani’s (Sal Stowers) wedding last June.
That was Kirk Taylor playing Dr. Morris, the Bayview official Marlena (Deidre Hall) sought out to release Evan/Christian (Brock Taylor) from the sanitarium. He made his first appearance on Tuesday, October 27.
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
