Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of our Lives? Are any of your favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the not-too-far-off future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring, or day-player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the Days of our Lives fold in surprising new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the Peacock soap.
Sal Stowers is getting a temporary prison reprieve as Lani Price Grant. The former Salem cop, who left town in July of 2022 to serve time at a Washington, D.C. facility for killing her biological father, T.R. Coates (William Christian), returns on Tuesday, July 4, to attend Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) memorial service. Stowers’ visit won’t be all dismal drama. She’ll also get to celebrate Lani and Eli’s (Lamon Archey) wedding anniversary, too.
Miranda Wilson took to Facebook to reveal that she was leaving the soap. The actress, who’s been working without a contract, noted that her last appearance as Megan DiMera will be Wednesday, July 6.
Jasper Newman wrapped up his two-month run as Sloan’s (Jessica Serfaty) brother, Colin Petersen, on June 29. The actor debuted back in April.
