DAYS’ Alison Sweeney Has a Sweet New Mission

Wildly popular “Days of Our Lives” star Alison Sweeney has a new role, but it’s not on-screen!

Promoting a Wholesome Way of Life
Sweeney has partnered with the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC), which promotes the inclusion of the fruit in a well-rounded diet.

USHB’s latest campaign features Sweeney as an ambassador for “healthy living.” The actress offers recipes that include the “little blue dynamos” in a variety of culinary contexts. From entrees to beverages, these yummy formulations include something for everyone.

“Who inspires you to lead a more dynamic lifestyle? For us, that’s actress, host, author and mom-of-two Alison Sweeney!” said the USHBC on its website.

Sweeney as a Health Champion
Sweeney is no stranger to helping people achieve health-related success. She hosted weight-loss competition show “The Biggest Loser” for eight years.

An Innovator All-Around
The actress is a daytime legend, having played the iconic legacy character Sami Brady on “Days of Our Lives” for two decades. Though she DAYS in 2015, she’s made one return and has said she’s up for more if the story is right.
