OK, let’s get real: Sarah Horton has never been a bastion of sanity on Days of our Lives. She was always a hot mess, and her reaction to any kind of trouble has always been to lie and deceive. But her latest behavior has hit new and unhinged heights. And it’s exhibiting no signs of slowing down.
Here We Go Again, Sarah Horton
A few years ago, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) lied that Xander (Paul Telfer), not Eric (Greg Vaughan), was the father of her baby daughter, Mackenzie. Little Mickey was revealed to actually be Rachel Isabella Black (Finley Rose Slater), and she was returned to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who then had free reign to turn that sweet little baby into a complete sociopath. But that’s another story for another time.
Take Two
Then, this year, Sarah returned to the same well and claimed that Rex (Kyle Lowder), and not Xander, was the father of her baby daughter, Victoria. This truth came out quicker, and now Xander is suing for custody of the child. Sarah is fighting back, which is understandable. But the ways she’s choosing to do it are… bizarre, to say the least.

Round and Round She Goes
We’ve lost count of how many times Sarah and Xander have come to a civil agreement to co-parent when Sarah suddenly learns that Xander was planning to fight her for custody by declaring Sarah an unfit parent, and she flies off the handle, announcing that she will never, ever, ever cooperate with the evil scoundrel!
Um, Sarah, sweetie, honey, how did you expect Xander to fight for custody? Were you hoping for a foot race? Rock, Paper, Scissors? In any custody battle ever, the game is for each parent to claim they’re better for the child than their opponent. Xander is doing exactly what any father in his position would do. You’re the one who is reacting like a complete lunatic. Which will only help strengthen Xander’s case. You might want to tone it down a notch. Or 12.
