Zach Tinker returned the Genoa City canvas as Fenmore Baldwin on The Young and the Restless with a new boyfriend in time to celebrate his mother Lauren’s big award. Tinker also recently left Days of our Lives when Sonny Kiriakis and Will Horton took off for New Zealand. The daytime star has much to celebrate!
Happy Birthday, Zach Tinker!
That’s because he was born on May 8, 1994, in New York City, New York, which means that this talented young actor is turning 29 years old today! Tinker’s love for performing manifested at an early age and culminated in him becoming a theater major at Loyola Marymount University.
His first television role was as Spether in an episode of the TNT crime drama Murder in the First. Other credits include Dear Diary I Died (a short film), Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders, NCIS, American Horror Story, Station 19, and 13 Reasons Why.
Tinker joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in 2018 and made his debut in an episode that aired on December 3 of that year. He assumed the role of Fenmore Baldwin, who had last been played by Max Ehrich.
A storyline-dictated exit saw Tinker leave the venerable soap in February of the following year though he has made several reprisals since then. In 2020, he inked a deal as Sonny Kiriakis on Peacock’s Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem, later joining the cast of NBC’s Days of our Lives in 2021.
At one time, Tinker was romantically linked to fellow Y&R star Cait Fairbanks, who stars as songstress Tessa Porter. Like his girlfriend’s character, Tinker is an old hand when it comes to playing musical instruments — though he prefers the drums, whereas Tessa strums the guitar.
