Remember when soaps used to have characters who are currently off the canvas return for some holiday episodes? Well, The Young and the Restless hasn’t in a while, but fan-favorite Zack Tinker is set to reprise his Genoa City persona just in time for the holidays.

Welcome Back, Zack Tinker

Tinker is bringing Fenmore Baldwin back to YR. The actor confirmed the news on his Twitter. “Can’t wait to bring Fen back for the holidays. Love you all and thank you for the never-ending support. The @YandR_CBS fan base is one of the best I’ve ever been lucky enough to experience.”

YR first put out the news about Tinker being back on the show last month with a colorful photo of the actor with his TV parents Tracey Bregman (Lauren) and Christian Jules LeBlanc (Michael).

Off-screen, Tinker’s been linked romantically to YR co-star Cait Fairbanks (Tessa). No word yet on how long Fenmore is going to be sticking around. The actor joined the show in 2018 when Fenmore shocked his parents by saying he was putting plans for law school on hold and instead would be taking up a music career.

While his stint was relatively short, Tinker’s performances on YR earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor at the 2019 Daytime Emmys.

Earlier this year, YR fans took to social media to show their support for Tinker, hoping he’d return to the show. The actor responded with heartfelt gratitude. “I cannot thank y’all enough!” Tinker tweeted. “I see everyone out there tweeting, and I appreciate the heck out of it. you are all the bee’s knees.”

In addition to seeing him on YR, Tinker’s fans can catch the actor in the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries holiday film Two Turtle Doves. The flick premiered in November, however, it is set to be rebroadcast on Sunday, December 15 at 7 am, Tuesday, December 24 at 7 am, Tuesday, December 31 at 7 am, Saturday, January 4 at 7 am and later that same day at 5 pm. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
