Our Favorite New Days of our Lives Team Up: Leo Stark and Thomas DiMera

Days of our Lives is famous for their dynamic duos: We’ve got Roman Brady and Abe Carver, Stefano DiMera and Dr. Rolf, Steve Johnson and John Black. And now there’s…Leo Stark and Thomas DiMera! The Horton/Deveraux/DiMera heir was down in the family tunnels, playing hide and seek with his sister, when who should he find but… the tooth fairy?

Days of our Lives: The Mirror Has Many Faces

At least, that’s who Leo (Greg Rikaart) told the adorable tot. Now, Leo has been lying through his teeth from the first moment he set foot in Salem. He tormented Sonny Kiriakis, he tormented Will Horton (Chandler Massey), and he nearly seduced Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) into marriage for his money.

Also, he was obnoxious to Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo), Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) about it. His friendship with Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was supposed to humanize him, but since they’re both liars, she isn’t exactly a character witness.

DOOL: Pint-Sized Problem

And, sure, Leo was lying to Thomas (Cary Christopher), but at least he was cute about it. Sure, he threatened the tyke with no more tooth fairy money – or Christmas presents – if Thomas spilled to Abby Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) about what he saw in the tunnels. But the boy is a DiMera, he’s got plenty of blackmail and extortion in his future. He might as well start getting used to it.

Days of our Lives: About Face

If DAYS hoped to redeem Leo via Gwen, they missed the mark by a mile. But cutie pie Thomas is another story. Soaps love to put villains with adorable moppets and let the lovefest begin. Remember One Life To Live’s Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) and the Roberts kids?

Todd saved CJ, Sarah, and Jessica Buchanan while he was on the run and, hey, what do you know? Suddenly, he’s not a rapist and attempted murderer anymore! Will Leo and Thomas follow the same path?
