A Days of our Lives Photo Tribute to the Devious Salem Devil

The Devil wreaked havoc on nearly everyone on Days of our Lives this time around. From possessing several key players to raising the dead, to trying to take over a baby, it was endless fun for us and torture for the people of Salem.

DAYS Tribute

We watched the Devil turn that sweet Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) into a deviant, almost destroy Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), torture the twins, have some fun with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison), and nearly kill Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams). What an adventure!

Let’s not forget the deviousness of upturning graves and enlisting some of Salem’s deadliest dead people to do their bidding. We saw André DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) take the reigns at the crypt, Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) and Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) do some serious haunting, and Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) be a horrible soul.

We also have to give credit where credit is due and honor those who helped the Devil along the way. Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), in particular, wouldn’t be where she is right now without lending a hand.

And, of course, no one would be where they are now without Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) returning to end the madness. This man proved himself to be a literal angel as he helped his daughter rescue his namesake, and defeat the demon, and even brought his best friend’s son back to life.

Today we take a walk down Memory Lane with all those whose lives the Devil touched in one way or another. Enjoy these fun snaps of the red-eyed monster, the victims, the minions, and the hero who ended it all.

Days of our Lives History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.

From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
