A Days of our Lives Photo Tribute to Jack And Jennifer Deveraux

The romance between Jack Deveraux and Jennifer Horton on Days of our Lives is one for the ages. Decades of love, loss, and triumph have kept us tuning in. The fan-favorite couple is returning to Salem for a visit and we thought we’d take a walk down memory lane to some of their greatest moments.

Jack (Matthew Ashford) first came to Salem seeking the healing hands of Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). It wasn’t long before this seemingly sweet man became a monster and hurt the doc in some of the very worst ways. A kidney transplant and a bunch of reveals later, he was on the road to redemption. Part of going from bad to good came with the accidental love of a good woman — Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves).

The pair fell in love while pretending to be married to help a homeless woman and her baby. The faux romance turned real and their love story began, and so did a very rocky road. They broke up, made up, and broke up again. Luckily, all roads have always led back to each other.

Even Jack’s “death” couldn’t keep these two apart. Jack was thought to be dead after an elevator crash in 2012 and Jennifer mourned him deeply. Imagine her surprise when he resurfaced nearly a decade later! Sure, he had very little memory and thought he was in love with Eve Donovan. But, Jennifer fought hard for her man, and eventually, a bump on the noggin brought them back together. They are now fabulously in love and the rest, my dear friends, is history.
