When it comes to Days of our Lives, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the Days of our Lives week that was.
Though I’m never going to be a fan of this iteration of the character, the highlight of the week was most certainly Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) predicting doom and gloom in response to Chad’s (Billy Flynn) following EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) advice to live by the mantra WWSD [What Would Stefano Do?].
I also got a kick out of watching Stephanie “I Am Woman Hear Me Roar” Johnson (Abigail Klein) emptying her glass of white wine into Chad’s face, even if she did take all of five minutes to forgive her boyfriend his little oopsie. [And I can’t honestly say that I wouldn’t melt if Flynn flashed those tear-filled, puppy-dog-eyes at me.] I still say that Chad is just as poor a choice of partner as Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), but that’s a debate for another column.
* Dear Rafe (Galen Gering), get out of Jada’s (Elia Cantu) room and go home! That is all.
* Engagement fever swept Salem this week, and I couldn’t help but tickle myself with the thought of Eric and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and EJ having a double wedding. I know it’ll NEVER happen, but the Dimitri/Gwen and Stefan/Gabi affair was so darn fun!
* No sooner has he been reintegrated back into the thick of things than Johnny (Carson Boatman) is poised to be thrown into yet another triangle. Yay…said no one.
* Welcome back Tamara Braun [Ava Vitali]! What a sight for sore eyes you are.
