Natalie J. Robb is a British actress best known for playing Moira Barton on Emmerdale for just over a decade. She was also on EastEnders.
Along with her work on the British soaps, the actress has also appeared on shows such as Doctors, The Bill, and Where the Heart Is. From where she was born and raised to her time in a band, here are five fast facts you need to know about the actress.
Robb was born on December 3 in Bellshill, Scotland, where she was also raised. She’s the youngest of three children. Her parents divorced when she was 15. She started acting as a kid in drama groups in Glasgow and was discovered by director Alan Macmillan. She then attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
First Role
She made her on-screen debut when she was just 9 years old in an STV docudrama with veteran Scots star Tom Conti. She then got her first TV role at the age of 14 in the Scottish soap Take the High Road, in which she played the character of Trish McDonald.
Soap Career
Robb was cast as Gemma Clewes in EastEnders in 2006. She was then cast as Moira Barton in Emmerdale in 2009 and has been a part of the show ever since.
Along with being an actress, Robb is also a musician. She was in a band called The Kinky People. She also released a single with a band called Partizan Keep Your Love, which can be found on YouTube.

She has never been married and doesn’t have any children, but she’s very happy being single. In a recent interview with The Mirror, Robb revealed she “doesn’t have time for romance.”
