Eric found comfort and support recently not from ex-wives Brooke or Donna but from Katie Logan, who gave the Forrester patriarch a much-needed confidence boost as she lent him a sympathetic ear on The Bold and the Beautiful. The half-hour serial tends to mix and match romantic partners but could a Katie/Eric pairing be in the cards?
Would The Bold and the Beautiful Go There?
Soap Hub asked fans of The Bold and the Beautiful if a Katie (Heather Tom) and Eric (John McCook) pairing could work. Would Katie make a play for her ex-brother-in-law? Read on to see what the show’s viewers think of that possibility!
Not A Chance
Katie hasn’t recommitted herself to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Eric needs some love in his life as what he has with Quinn ultimately isn’t working. While Katie’s next move is up to the show’s writing team, most of you, about 71%, can’t see the youngest Logan sibling going for a man whom her sister Donna (Jennifer Gareis) still loves.
Katie got the short end of the stick when Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and her husband Bill were intimate while Katie was suffering from post-partum depression. There’s no way she’d betray Donna the way Brooke betrayed her.
An Unlikely Bold and the Beautiful Pairing
“Keric” and “Eatie” are not the best “smush” names but some of you, about 15%, believe that Katie is totally invested in Eric and would be open to a romance with the Forrester patriarch.

All three Logan sisters were left with “Daddy issues” after their father Stephen Logan (Robert Pine; Patrick Duffy) walked out on the family when they were all very young. Eric represents a lot of what Katie is looking for in life. He’d be a great stepdad to Will (Finnegan George) and he’s not as likely to stray like Bill keeps doing.
It’s Up To Donna
The rest of you, over 14%, believe that Katie could make a play for Eric but only if Donna finds a new man. Katie wouldn’t enter a relationship with a man Donna’s pining for unless she had someone else to focus on.
Perhaps Donna will reunite with Justin (Aaron D. Spears) or find a new love. Only if either of those two possibilities were to happen would Katie be comfortable exploring a relationship with Eric.
