When Justin Barber maneuvered his way into Carter Walton’s apartment on The Bold and the Beautiful and crept up the stairs, discovering lovebirds Carter and Quinn Fuller Forrester getting intimate, we expected Quinn to make mincemeat out of the intruder. Instead, her reaction and also Justin and Carter’s left us scratching our heads.
Bold and the Beautiful: Quinn Let Justin Off Easy
You’d think Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) would have learned to have put an alarm on his door after that time Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) showed up unannounced and nearly caught Quinn (Rena Sofer) there. He didn’t do that, though, which allowed Justin to brazenly make his way into Carter’s home. Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) former righthand man felt victorious that he’d caught the couple in the act.
To Tell The Truth
We’re used to seeing people lie on soaps, so it was confusing when all the parties involved started telling the truth! We assumed Quinn would have gone on the attack. She could have either picked up her phone and called the police or used her cellular device to conk Justin on his head with it! After all, she has a history of committing underhanded acts to get what she wants.
Remember when she pushed Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) into the Seine in Paris so that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) wouldn’t propose to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle)? Later, Quinn held an amnesiac Liam prisoner so that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) could make inroads with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
A Bold And Beautiful Move
Instead of treating Justin like an intruder, Quinn acted as if he were her local pastor, unloading her truth on him, explaining that Eric Forrester (John McCook) had given her and Carter his permission to sleep together. For starters, why does she think that Justin would even believe her?
Second, don’t Carter and Quinn realize that Justin will make a beeline to Ridge Forrester and share what he now knows? (Curiously, Justin also revealed with whom he’s in cahoots.) Quinn made an impassioned plea for Justin to keep this secret but how long can she seriously expect him to do that?

Quinn Fuller Forrester Gave Justin Barber All The Power – Why?
Justin can also share this news with people other than Ridge. He could bring the information to Bill and feed it to his ex-boss as some salacious gossip for one of Spencer Publications’ less reputable periodicals or websites.
Quinn says she loves Eric but she shared with Justin that Eric has ED (erectile dysfunction). Seriously, this is the type of thing you keep private. Sure, Quinn and Carter rolled the dice and thought that they could reason with Justin but this is taking quite a chance.
It might have made more sense for the two lovebirds to have taken a stronger offense. They could have ordered Justin to get out and let him wonder why they were so secure in their being together. They could have let Justin report back to Ridge what he had discovered and then let Ridge suffer Eric’s wrath after Ridge informed his dad what was going on.
Quinn’s not known for throwing herself on anyone’s mercy – least of all someone she barely knows like Justin. Conversely, the legal eagle has no business sticking his nose in Quinn and Carter’s affairs. It’s surprising that the jewelry maker took Justin into her confidence. We know Eric’s the one low on testosterone but apparently, Quinn’s the one who lost her figurative cajones.
