Talking Emmys

Happy DAYS for Salem alum Chrishell Stause. The actress, who played Jordan Ridgeway on the soap, tweeted a video of her reaction to being nominated for a daytime Emmy.

After a year of front burner storyline, Scott Clifton (Liam, B&B) was conspicuously missing from the Daytime Emmys nominee list. But there’s a very simple reason why.

Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden, GH) received an Emmy nod, too, and she was quick to share her moment with two very special co-stars: her TV family. Namely, Micahel Easton, who plays her former fiance, Finn, and their TV daughter, Jophielle Love (Violet).

Going Retro

As YR continues to run yesteryear episodes, Bryton James chatted about the soap storyline that changed his career. The actor delved into Neil and Dru’s decision to adopt Devon.

Shemar Moore spoke out about his first episode as Malcolm on Y&R. And he urged fans to tune it to give it a watch.

Speaking of YR challenges, Melissa Ordway (Abby) took part in a gummy bear one, and her kids loved it. And Michael Mealor (Kyle) organized a stay fit dare that Eileen Davidson (Ashley) and others accepted.

In Other Awards…

The 11th Annual Indie Series Awards, previously set for earlier this year, will now be held online. Daytime vet Sean Kanan (ex-AJ, GH; ex-Deacon, B&B) is hosting the gala that honors the best in Web programming.

Darling daughters

Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis, GH) held a special celebration in honor of her daughter Kate’s college graduation from USC and shared lots of pictures from the occasion.

Meanwhile, Brandon Barash (Jake, DAYS) proved he’s a man of many talents. He grabbed a pair of scissors and gave daughter Harper her first quarantine hair cut.

A Special Thanks

Real-life DAYS duo, Arianne Zucker (Nicole) and Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel) expressed their gratitude to fans who “attended” their Daytime Caress virtual variety show. The event raised money for Feeding America and the Disaster Responder Assets Network.

Meanwhile, Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans (Steve and Kayla, DAYS) hosted a YouTube question and answer session with fans. You’ll want to make sure to watch it.

Best Scene Ever

Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami) reflected on her most recent acting project, Hallmark Channel’s Time for You to Come Home for Christmas. She shared a photo from the movie, which included one of her favorite scenes ever.

Big Fat Liar
