Here are the latest comings and goings casting news from all five daytime dramas: The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and Beyond the Gates.

The Young and the Restless Casting

Soap vet Tamara Braun debuts as Y&R’s Sienna Bacall on Tuesday, October 14. The mysterious character’s first scenes are with Nathan Owens’ Cameron and Hayley Erin’s Claire. Braun rose to daytime fame as Carly Corinthos on General Hospital. She also played Reese Williams on All Children, Ava Vitali on Days of our Lives, and Kim Nero on GH. Matt Cohen is back on the daytime scene as Detective Burrow on Thursday, October 16. The actor’s casting was announced last month. Cohen is best remembered for his role as Duke Lavery’s (Ian Buchanan) son, Griffin Munro, on GH. He later went on to work as a correspondent on Entertainment Tonight.

Jess Walton gets more screen time as Jill Abbott. Look for her character to make a big decision regarding her son, Billy (Jason Thompson), on Tuesday, October 14.

Cait Fairbanks is back as Tessa Porter on Thursday, October 16. (Find out some interesting facts about the actress.) She pays a visit to her estranged wife, Mariah (Camryn Grimes).

Beyond the Gates Casting

Popular daytime alum Greg Vaughan is set to board BTG. The actor, who played Lucky Spencer on GH, Eric Brady on DAYS, and Diego on Y&R, has signed on to play a new role. The identity of his character is being kept top secret, and no first airdate has been announced yet. 

Days of our Lives Casting

Stacy Haiduk is back as the wacky Susan Banks on Tuesday, October 14. She interacts with her TV son, Dan Feurreigel’s EJ.

Thaao Penghlis gets some powerful screen time as Tony DiMera on Tuesday, October 14. The actor has been back in the thick of things courtesy of the show’s current head writing team. Look for the character to pull the rug out from under Cherie Jimenez’s Gabi.

As the baby Tesoro drama continues to unfold, Louis Tomeo resurfaces as Aaron Greene. (Find out some interesting facts about Tomeo here.) He shares scenes with Leo Howard’s Tate and Ashley Puzemis’ Holly on Wednesday, October 15. 

Tina Huang resurfaces as Melinda Trask. Look for Rachel Boyd’s Sophia to make a major confession to her attorney on Wednesday, October 15.

Last, but not least, the show’s top kids stars are back. Expect to see more of Cary Christopher as Thomas DiMera and Alice Halsey as Rachel Black.

The Bold and the Beautiful Casting

Ashley Jones continues her B&B story arc as Dr. Bridget Forrester. She shares scenes with Lisa Yamada’s Luna, Crew Morrow’s Will, Heather Tom’s Katie, Don Diamont’s Bill, and others on Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14. When she’s not working as an actress, Jones devotes time to a newfound love, producing.

Dan Martin is back on the scene as Los Angeles’ top cop. Deputy Chief Baker addresses the situation with Luna on Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14

Naomi Matsuda resurfaces as Dr. Li Finnegan. She appears on Friday, October 17.

Alexis Gaube makes another appearance as Petra. The Forrester Creations model is back at work on Wednesday, October 15.

General Hospital Casting

Carlo Rota is back on the GH scene as Jenz Sidwell. The villain throws his weight around on Tuesday, October 14.

Chris McKenna is front and center as Jack Brennan. The WSB bigwig demands answers from someone on Wednesday, October 15 and has a confrontation with Finola Hughes’ Anna on Friday, October 17.

Nazneen Contractor gets more airtime as Justine Turner. The assistant district attorney is on the scene as the investigation into Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting continues.
