Cait Fairbanks — A Biography
Cait Fairbanks grew up in Trabuco Canyon, California. She began her acting career at the age of 8. Fairbanks has appeared in over 20 regional theater productions, including Jason Robert Brown and Dan Elish’s 13 at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles and the off-Broadway production of Heathers — The Musical.
By 2006, she started adding television credits to her resume with Untold Stories of the ER, CSI: NY, Everybody Hates Chris, Lincoln Heights, Two and a Half Men, The Middle, K.C. Undercover, The Goldbergs, and her most recent guest-starring role on Chicago Fire.
Cait Fairbanks took on the role of the mysterious Tessa Porter, an aspiring musician who fell in love with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), on The Young and the Restless in March of 2017. She has been nominated for two Daytime Emmys, one for Outstanding Younger Actress and another for Outstanding Original Song for How Could A Lie Feel So True.
In addition to her acting career, Fairbanks is a talented singer/songwriter who goes by the name of Ginesse. She also plays piano and guitar. When she is not working, the actress likes to dabble in photography and spend time with her rescue dog, Millie Furbanks.
