Since Grey’s Anatomy has been on for 15 seasons, there have been so many guest stars to walk the halls of that hospital. While some of them are just regular working actors, others have gone on to become megastars — and some already were.

Though it’s hard to narrow it down, here are the top five best Grey’s Anatomy guest stars of all time. See if our favorites match up with yours!

Demi Lovato
Lovato was on Grey’s Anatomy back in Season 5 and played a schizophrenic patient who tries to not only stab herself with a syringe but also claw her own eyes out! However, Alex finds out she’s not schizophrenic, she just had a small hole in her ear that amplifies sound.

Mandy Moore
Before she got her role as Rebecca Pearson on This Is Us, Moore played a character named Mary Portman who was inside the hospital during the devastating shooting back in Season 6. She ended up surviving the shooting, but she returned to the hospital six months later and died after surgery.

Kyle Chandler
Leave it to the Friday Night Lights star to be a part of one of the most stressful Grey’s Anatomy episodes of all time. Chandler played Dylan, a bomb squad leader. He helped Meredith after she was forced to put her hand inside a man to stabilize a bomb. The whole episode was so intense — and Dylan was killed while exiting with the bomb.

Sarah Paulson
In what has to be the most perfect casting ever, the American Horror Story star guested on an episode called The Time Warp, where she played Meredith’s mother, Ellis Grey, in a flashback from 1982.

Faye Dunaway
The Oscar-winner joined Grey’s Anatomy back in Season 5 as Dr. Margaret Campbell. She was the first ever female surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial, but she really clashed with Cristina Yang over their differences of opinion. Though Dunaway wasn’t on the show for very long, she certainly had an impact.
