Y&R’s Ray Wise is One Very Busy Man!

Deranged “Young and the Restless” evildoer Ian Ward is a very busy man, and so is the actor who plays him. It looks like Ray Wise has his hands in different acting pots all over Hollywood.

Back to Twin Peaks
Wise reprised his role as Leland Palmer on the re-make of the popular 90s series “Twin Peaks.” The show will bring back many of the original characters and fans can look forward to the drama later this year.

Beam Me Up!
Wise is currently filming the title role in the latest Star Trek installment “Star Trek: Captain Pike.” The new flick concentrates on the life of the much-loved Captain. The role is new for Wise, but he’s well aware of how things work in deep space. In the past, he made appearances on “Star Trek: Voyager,” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”

A Horror Story
His newest movie, “Shattered” also is in the post-production stage. Wise won the role of Forest Burnet. He will star in the film alongside “Days of Our Lives” stars Molly Burnett and Arianne Zucker.

A Booming Voice
Also on Wise’s docket the animated movies “Malovent” in which he’ll voice the part of Cyrus DeKalb. In “Batman: The Killing Joke,” he’ll voice Commissioner James Gordon.

There are also reports that Wise has landed roles in the films “Road to Redemption,” and “Nightmare City.” Both movies are said to be nearing completion and for release later this year.

With all this going on, it’s no wonder Wise is one of the most in-demand television actors. His fabulous career has spanned over 60 years and he’s delighted audiences the entire time.
