The Young and the Restless gave viewers a wonderful present in the form of Melody Thomas Scott and Eric Braeden. Together, the duo had an intriguing surprise for fans.
The soap opera shared the first installment of its Y&R holiday countdown, and they didn’t save the best for last this year. The Nikki Newman and Victor Newman actors stood in front of a gorgeously decorated Christmas tree holding a beautifully wrapped red box with a shiny gold bow on top.
While Braeden held the box, Thomas Scott carefully coaxed it open. Inside, she found a slip of paper with a question on it, and they both read it aloud together. “Would your character be on the nice or naughty list?” the slip read.
The actress seemed shocked at the question, but Braeden thought it seemed like fun. While Melody Thomas Scott said she’d hope that Nikki would be a little naughty, she felt that her on-screen alter ego had been awfully nice recently (we think she’s right. It’s been a while since Nikki got up to any shenanigans because she’s barely had a storyline).
Meanwhile, Braeden didn’t even get a chance to answer the obvious for Victor because his co-star declared Victor is always naughty. We got the feeling she also meant that Eric Braeden is also always naughty.
The dynamic duo finished the sweet clip by declaring that naughty is nice and encouraging viewers to stay Young and Restless. You can see the whole fun clip below. So which of Santa’s lists will you end up on this year? Let us know in the comments below.
