Y&R Stars Share Their Character’s Marriage Advice With Courtney Hope

The Young and the Restless star Courtney Hope and General Hospital star Chad Duell plan to tie the knot this weekend. With everybody giving the bride-to-be lots of marriage advice, the Sally Spectra actress decided to ask some characters from the show to provide her with their best marriage advice. Their answers left her shocked in some cases.

Y&R Stars Give Courtney Hope Their Characters’ Best Marriage Advice

Given the wild and crazy storylines that often pop up around weddings in Genoa City, it’s not surprising that Hope got some rather off-the-wall advice when she asked her Y&R co-stars to weigh in on her upcoming nuptials.

Peter Bergman shared Jack Abbott’s advice first. Jack told her not to let her family have any say in things, and that is solid advice on or off a soap opera.

When it came to Victoria Newman, Amelia Heinle shared a bit less conventional wisdom for Hope. Heinle let her know that the most important thing to do is marry a man who’s both rich and dying soon.

Chloe Mitchell Fisher’s advice also seemed surprising. Elizabeth Hendrickson passed along Chloe’s advice to not give away her wedding to her fiancé’s ex-wife, which is solid. Likewise, Christel Khalil passed along Lily Winters’s advice not to let her husband convince her she slept with a ghost. Fun times for both characters.

No Evil Twins And Prenups

What’s a soap without evil twins? Ashley Abbott certainly knows plenty about that. Eileen Davidson gave some solid advice from her on-screen alter ego relating to evil twins. We just know this will come in handy given Duell’s soapy resume.

Finally, Michelle Stafford, Mishael Morgan, and Christian Le Blanc passed along some must-dos ahead of the wedding. The actors spoke for Phyllis Summers, Amanda Sinclair, and Michael Baldwin.
