The Young and the Restless star Jess Walton suffered another heartbreaking loss just months after losing her husband of 40 years, John James, to liver cancer.

The Jill Abbott star took to Instagram to share the sad news that her beloved horse Ace passed away recently. She shared a beautiful picture of her majestic horse, writing, “Our sweet Ace joined my husband John last week. They always shared a special bond, and I miss them both.”

Several of Jess Walton’s current and former Y&R co-stars replied with their condolences, including Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Williams), Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), Kate Linder (Esther Valentine), and Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane Ashby). Several fans also left notes to let Walton know they were thinking of her.

The grieving actress continued to explain that Ace had been at the HeartSpace Horse Sanctuary. In the post, she announced a fundraiser for the sanctuary in honor of both John and Ace. Soap Hub sends our deepest condolences on losing Ace.

Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) recently arrived to grieve and help Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) through this difficult time, and we hope to see Jill show up any day now.
