Y&R Star Greg Rikaart Makes A Sweet Promise to Judith Chapman

The Young and the Restless star Greg Rikaart made a sweet promise to his onscreen mother, Gloria Abbott Bardwell portrayer, Judith Chapman, when fans were treated to another video as part of Y&R’s holiday countdown series.

Greg Rikaart Has Fun With Judith Chapman

The Young and the Restless delighted fans with a fun and lighthearted video as part of its holiday countdown series. In this installment, the onscreen mother/son duo stood in Crimson Lights (because none of the family has a home on set these days?).

With the jukebox in the background, Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) held the now-familiar gift box wrapped in red and topped with a sparkly gold bow. He opened the lid and had a bit of fun with Chapman. When she excitedly reached inside to pull out a question, he quickly closed the lid, catching her hand lightly and causing her to jerk it out and scream with laughter. The sweet exchange showcased their relationship both in character and out.

A Sweet Promise

Judith Chapman grabbed the slip with the question, and she needed her glasses to read it. Rikaart ended up reading the question, which asked whether they liked to gift shop in person or online during the holiday season.

Chapman instantly answered in person while Rikaart said he did a combination. For in-person shopping, Rikaart liked to support small businesses. However, he admitted he sometimes shopped online. Chapman revealed that she doesn’t even know how to shop online, which surprised her co-star. She asked Greg Rikaart if he’d teach her how to shop online, and he said he would.

In the end, these two friends and onscreen family hugged and wished fans a Merry Christmas and happy holidays. Chapman also advised everybody to give everybody more squeezes this season. You can check out their fun exchange in the tweet below.
