With Adam presumed dead, new The Young and the Restless spoilers show friends and family gathering to remember him. A guilty Victor stands to pay his respects for his son’s tragically short life.
No Parent Should Say Goodbye
Victor (Eric Braeden) set in motion the disaster that culminated in Adam’s death. Even so, in his overwhelming grief and remorse, he takes a moment to honor his son and Adam’s family — Chelsea and Connor. He acknowledges the fact that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor nearly completed Adam’s life.
He stands in the unenviable position no parent every wants to stand in — especially knowing he had a hand in Adam’s demise.
Regrets
While Victor acknowledges he and Adam had their differences, he focuses on Chelsea and Connor, along with Adam’s admirable qualities. He has so much to regret starting with the fact that he should’ve been a better father to his son.
Throughout his entire eulogy, those gathered try to keep it together. Everybody except Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that is. She spends the entire time with her unbelievable smug smirk.
Ultimately, Victor tries to reveal details nobody else knows. Do you think he’ll confess his own part in Adam’s tragic ending? Or, will he end up exacting revenge on Chloe for her major part in his son’s untimely death?
