Y&R Spoilers Recap For January 17: Chance Sides With Devon Over Abby

The Y&R spoilers recap for Monday, January 17, 2022, picks up with Devon Hamilton laying down his ultimatum to Abby Chancellor – and both getting a surprise in return. Plus, Adam Newman warns Victoria Newman Locke to look out for Victor Newman just as Victor is telling Michael Baldwin he’s in the mood to make a few changes.

The Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Devon (Bryton James) told Abby (Melissa Ordway) that he wanted legal recognition of his role in Dominic’s life, and the right to take him for visits to his home, alone and unsupervised (you know, the way he did it when Abby just dumped the kid on him).

Abby shrieked that this was all because Devon didn’t trust her and Chance (Conner Floyd) to take care of Dominic properly. When Chance stepped out with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to let Devon and Abby hash this out in private, Chance admitted that he wasn’t confident in his parenting abilities, either. When they returned, Chance stunned Abby by admitting as much and saying he thought Dominic would benefit from having Devon as a dad.

Young and the Restless: Watch Out

Adam (Mark Grossman) warned Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that if she thought Victor (Eric Braeden) was always going to take her side over his, she was sorely mistaken. First, he wouldn’t let Victoria buy Newman Media out from under him. Victoria counters that Victor then made it clear he didn’t trust Adam to run the company, either. Adam doesn’t want to fight with his sister…but he does want to let her know to watch her back. No, not for him. For Victor.

As this is going on Victor is telling Michael (Christian Le Blanc) that he doesn’t trust Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) having a hand in running the newly renamed Newman-Locke. Victor wants to get back what’s his!
