The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 8, 2022, asked Jack Abbott many questions. First, Amanda Sinclair grilled him as only a lawyer can do, and then Lauren Fenmore Baldwin took her shot later. Plus, Abby Chancellor, Chance Chancellor, and Devon Hamilton got bad news about Dominic’s health, Sharon Rosales and Rey Rosales ignored the elephant in the room, and Billy Abbott felt restless, which Lily Winters solved.

Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights

Jack (Peter Bergman) just wanted to enjoy some coffee and the newspaper at Crimson Lights, but Amanda (Mishael Morgan) couldn’t help grilling him about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). He once thought he and Phyllis would find happiness together, but alas, that isn’t to be. For now, at least.

Phyllis is in Milan, which is a city that grabs ahold of you and doesn’t let go. Jack knows that life is unpredictable, and so is his ex-wife. He’s resigned to it. Of course, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) also wanted the lowdown, but Jack had nothing much to say. He’s happy…without Phyllis…right now.

Young and the Restless: Dominic’s Bloodwork

Abby (Melissa Ordway) wanted to call Devon (Bryton James) about Dominic’s health issues. So Chance (Conner Floyd) called, interrupting a discussion Devon and Lily (Christel Khalil) had about a possible collaboration between Hamilton Winters and Chancellor Industries (more on that later).

Devon showed up at the Chancellor mansion to check on…his son and Abby snarked at him because she felt Devon accused her of overreaction. The whole time, Chance tried to calm his wife and play referee between Dominic’s biological parents.

Ultimately, the pediatrician called Abby, and it seems the little boy has a worrisomely low red blood cell count. So they have to take Dominic in ASAP for more testing. Queue worried faces from Abby, Devon, and Chance.

Y&R Spoilers Recap: Restless

Elsewhere, Billy (Jason Thompson) felt antsy. He’s experienced some insomnia lately, which isn’t usual. His brother, Jack, and later Lily pointed out that perhaps he’s not quite as okay with his recent life changes as he’s acting. However, Billy thought he felt restless (but maybe not so young).

Lily came up with a fabulous idea to help her boyfriend feel more fulfilled. She put him in charge of the Chancellor Industries collaboration with Hamilton Winters. She tasked Billy with putting together a pitch to Devon outlining how both businesses could team up to produce podcasts. It’d be a tribute to both Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). Billy felt the idea was sexy and seemed relieved to have a direction.

Oh, and due to construction at the Chancellor offices, Billy and Lily must work from home for the foreseeable future. That led to some…distractions.

Y&R: Ignorance is Bliss

Finally, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon (Sharon Case) pretended that everything between them was totally fine. They made no mention of Rey’s bombshell that he’d missed out on being a parent. Yep. They’re totally fine. Here’s your sandwich for lunch, Rey…totally love you…I really, really do. But, Sharon didn’t seem totally fine, and her goodbye kiss for Rey was not passionate.
