Y&R Spoilers Recap For Feb. 15: Devon & Abby Get Tested For Dominic

The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 15, 2022, brings worry, heartbreak, and new beginnings as people in Genoa City make plans for their futures.

Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) got a call from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He wanted to bring the specialist over to the Chancellor mansion to discuss Dominic’s health issues. They called Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to let him know.

Devon had been in a meeting with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about the new podcast platform, and Devon even pushed Billy to do his own podcast. However, Billy didn’t seem too keen on the idea. When Devon got the call from the Chancellors, he rushed right over.

Young and the Restless: It’s All Relative

Once everybody arrived at the Chancellor mansion, the specialist told Abby, Chance, and Devon what was wrong with Dominic. First of all, it wasn’t Leukemia, which was a relief for everybody. However, the baby had a rare bone marrow disorder, which meant they needed to find a donor match as soon as possible.

Abby and Devon both got tested, but the specialist warned them that typically only a full biological sibling would be a perfect match. Oh boy. After the world’s shortest test time, Abby got the call that she was a 50% match for Dominic’s bone marrow. However, Devon also got a call. Guess what? Good news, he was one of the rare parents who ended up being a 100% bone marrow match for his son.

Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) made Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) an offer she couldn’t refuse — the head of legal at Chancellor Industries. What? Of course, Amanda just started her own legal practice with her sister, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose).

What about all the time they spent finding the perfect location and all of Imani’s great contacts? It’s fine…because Y&R doesn’t want to build a new set, Lily offered both Amanda and her sister a position at the company. Amanda seemed all for it in the end, but she did need to clear that with Imani.

Y&R: Secrets

In between everything else the Chancellors’ dealt with, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) stopped by to see Chance, and Abby happened to overhear him apologizing to Rey for freezing during the stakeout. When Abby asked her husband for more details, he blew her off and didn’t open up to her about what happened at the stakeout. All that mattered is she was right that he wasn’t ready to return.
