The Y&R spoilers recap for Monday, December 27, 2021, is a holiday cornucopia of people judging other people by standards they would apply to themselves. Abby Newman-Abbott Chancellor thinks Devon Hamilton is getting too close to the baby she dumped on him, Noah Newman thinks poor, innocent Tessa Porter shouldn’t be hanging around big, bad scheming Sally Spectra, and Adam Newman assumes Chelsea Lawson must obviously still want to get back together with him – who wouldn’t?
The Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Adam (Mark Grossman) gives Chance (Conner Floyd) a pep talk about how he’s a perfect dad to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), so Chance should too and try to be half as good of a father to Dominic.
Chance takes the advice to heart and tries to make Dominic take a bottle – when the child clearly doesn’t want one – as evidenced by the fact that he isn’t crying, he isn’t fussing, but he also has no interest in that thing Chance is trying to shove in his mouth.
This is what we call a baby who isn’t hungry. Devon (Bryton James) comes in and Dominic begins to weep bitterly – nobody connects the two events – so Devon takes the baby and tries to feed him. Dominic swipes the bottle away when Devon is doing it, too, but Abby (Melissa Ordway) enters and is instantly concerned.

Y&R Recap: To Protect and Serve
Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) sees Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) talk to Sally (Courtney Hope) and instantly reminds her that Sally is bad news. Remember what she did to Summer, Noah says…to the woman who blackmailed and terrorized Noah’s mother.
Later, Tessa sobs to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about how happy she is to be a member of her family and how she used to be alone, and now she isn’t. You know, like Sally still is.
Young and the Restless: At the Door
Meanwhile, Sally eavesdrops as Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) agrees with Adam that their romantic relationship is over. But they will still be spending all their time together…right? Because of precious Connor?
