Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of February 26, 2018
Catherine Bach is reprising her role as Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) long missing mama, Anita Lawson. Look for the character to turn up on Thursday, March 1 and Friday, March 2. The Dukes of Hazzard alum first appeared in the role back in 2012. With Egan soon to be leaving the soap, Bach could be part of the storyline ushering her off the canvas.
Camryn Hamm turns up as Shauna on Thursday, March 2. She’ll share scenes with Mishael Morgan (Hilary). Hamm’s past credits include a stint as Hilary Montgomery on a 2015 episode of Black-ish.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
