 Comments

Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Soap Opera Casting For The Week Of July 4, 2022

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.

Days of our Lives

Another soap opera supercouple is biting the dust at Days of our Lives. Victoria Konefal and Robert Scott Wilson are exiting the soap as Ciara Brady Weston and Ben Weston. The duo will sail off on a new adventure with their new son, Bo, on Friday, July 8. However, word is that Wilson will be returning.

Thaao Penghlis and Leanna Hunley return as Tony DiMera and Anna DiMera on Monday, July 4. The pair are back in Salem to attend Abigail’s (Marci Miller) funeral.

George DelHoyo continues to stir the pot as Orpheus. He’ll appear on Tuesday, July 5.

General Hospital

Good news for fans of Lexi Ainsworth. The actress has been back on the General Hospital set taping scenes as Kristina Corinthos Davis. Ainsworth shared the news via an Instagram story on June 27, which she shot from inside her GH dressing room.

Robert Adamson will fill in as Michael Corinthos again this week. It will mark his final appearance on the soap opera subbing for Chad Duell.

There’s a new actor playing Rocco Falconeri, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and the long missing-in-action Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) son. Finn Francis Carr made his debut last week on the soap opera. The character had been portrayed by Brady Bauer since 2021.

The Bold and the Beautiful

After being conspicuously missing during John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) “death” storyline, Ted King finally returns to The Bold and the Beautiful as Jack Finnegan. He’ll air on Wednesday, July 6, looking for answers regarding his “late” son and estranged wife, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda).

Kelly Spencer has been recast yet again. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline McInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) daughter, last played by Sophia Paras McKinlay, will be portrayed by Remington Evans when Steffy and her kids return from Europe. Remington has been playing Gigi Hawkins on the FOX series, The Resident.
