Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (Y&R)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
It looks like The Young and the Restless will be losing a popular couple. Renegotiations between the soap and actors Hunter King and Michael Mealor, who portray Summer Newman and Kyle Abbott, have reached a stalemate. Word is the duo will be written off the soap.
Christian Telesmar portrays Tyler on Thursday, July 8, and Friday, July 9. The actor has had guest spots on NCIS: Los Angeles and Bones.
On the Days of our Lives front, Precious Way makes her last appearance as Chanel Dupree on Monday, July 5. The actress, who debuted in the role in March, had to leave the show due to a scheduling conflict.
Raven Bowens takes over as Chanel beginning Tuesday, July 6. Her credits include Insecure, All Rise, Mr. Student Body President, and The New Edition Story.
Stacy Haiduk pops back in as Kristen DiMera when her character makes phone calls to Dan Feuerriegel’s EJ and Eric Martsolf’s Brady, this week
Last, but not least, popular vet Suzanne Rogers is back on set taping scenes as Maggie Horton Kiriakis.
Over at General Hospital, the word is newcomer Nicholas Alexander Chavez has been cast in the role of Spencer Cassadine. The character had been portrayed by Nicolas Bechtel, on and off, since 2013.
Hudson West airs as Jake Spencer on Monday, July 5. He’ll share scenes with his TV brother, William Lipton’s Cameron.
Glenn Taranto is playing Vincent Novak, patriarch of the mob family threatening the Corinthos clan.
Anita Finley is back as Judge Carson. She’ll appear in scenes with Haley Pullos’s Molly on Wednesday, July 7.
After a trip to London, Vernee Watson is already back as Stella Henry, Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) aunt.
Meanwhile, at The Bold and the Beautiful, Dan Martin returns as Deputy Chief Bradley Baker on Friday, July 9. The L.A. cop will deliver devastating news to Scott Clifton’s Liam.
Aaron D. Spears continues his scheming as Justin Barber, this week, and he has an assistant, played by Gabriella Tranchina, on Wednesday, July 7. The young actress has appeared as a host on The Morning Brew, University of Southern California’s student-run morning show.
