Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
A pair of Days of our Lives child actors have been recast and will be resurfacing as teens. Jamie Martin Mann takes over the role of Tate Black, Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa Donovan’s son. The daytime newcomer was a series regular on Netflix’s Country Comfort.
Ashley Puzemis has been cast as Holly Jonas, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and the late Daniel Jonas’s (Shawn Christian) daughter. The actress previously appeared on Nickelodeon’s Danger Force and on the 20th Century Fox pilot called Culture Clash. Both actors are set to debut on the soap opera this month.
John Kapelos is back as Konstantin on Thursday, October 12. He’ll share scenes with Suzanne Rogers’ Maggie Kiriakis.
Meanwhile, Adam Caine wraps up his quick return as Edmund Crumb. He makes his final appearance this week.
An actress from The Young and the Restless’ past is back in a brand new role. Hayley Erin, who played Abby Newman from 2008 to 2010, resurfaces in the role of Claire Grace. She’ll share some of her first scenes with Melissa Ordway, the show’s current Abby Newman. After exiting Y&R, Erin went on to play Kiki Jerome (2015 to 2019) on General Hospital.
Jess Walton returns to Genoa City for her latest story arc as Jill Abbott on Thursday, October 5. The character appeared in a video call with Bryton James’ Devon Winters, Christel Khalil’s Lily Winters, and Eric Braeden’s Victor Newman, last.
It looks like Tricia Cast is heading back to the soap opera too. Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine Williams, shared a photo of herself with the actress, noting that her good pal is slated to make a Genoa City return in the near future. Cast originally portrayed Nina Webster from 1986 to 2001 and has played the character off and on through the years. She made her last appearance in March.
The role of Molly Lansing Davis has been recast again on General Hospital. Kristen Vaganos made her debut in the role last week. The character was originally portrayed by Haley Pullos, who had to be replaced when she was involved in a car crash in April and subsequently charged with several felonies. Holiday Mia Kriegel took over the part in May, followed by Brooke Anne Smith in July. Smith made her final appearance last week.
A Big Brother alumna turns up on The Bold and the Beautiful again. Taylor Hale, who was Season 24’s winner and America’s Favorite Houseguest, is back as Foster Creations model MacKenzie. She’ll don one of Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) couture designs on Wednesday, October 4. Hale made two previous appearances on the soap opera back in November of 2022.
