Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Soap Opera Casting For The Week Of March 14, 2022

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.

General Hospital

Lydia Look is finally returning to the General Hospital canvas as mob boss Selina Wu this week. The actress had been on holiday visiting her family in Singapore.

Maurice Benard, who plays rival mobster Sonny Corinthos, took to Twitter to announce that his son, Joshua Benard, is making another appearance on the soap. The younger Benard, who previously portrayed a young Sonny on GH, is slated to air on Wednesday, March 16.

A prominent member of the show’s teen set has been recast. Sydney Mikayla is exiting the role of Trina Robinson, so she can focus on her college studies. She’ll make her final appearance on Thursday, March 17. Taking over the part will be Tabyana Ali.

Priscilla Garita (ex-Gabi, Sunset Beach) filled in as Harmony Miller on Thursday, March 10. Inga Cadranel, who originated the role, had to take a break from the soap opera.

James Patrick Stuart, who’s been MIA as Valentin Cassadine while he’s been off filming the Disney+ series, Villains of Valley View, will be back on air soon. The actor took to Twitter to let fans know he’ll be back on screen this month.

Days of our Lives

Over at Days of our Lives, Vanessa Williams is back for another run on the soap opera as Valerie Grant. The character returns to town after her son, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), is shot.

Donielle Artese debuts in the recurring role of Beth, TR Coates’s (William Christian) ex-girlfriend, on Monday, March 14. The actress’ credits include the primetime series Insecure and Jane the Virgin. She also appeared in the film, Don’t Mess with the Zohan.

Melissa Reeves has wrapped up her short visit as Jennifer Deveraux. The character headed back to Boston, after welcoming Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) home.

The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful front Cassandra Creech returns as Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) meddling mother, Dr. Grace Buckingham, on Monday, March 14.

Abdur Wyatt pops back in as the bartender at Il Giardino on Tuesday, March 15. He’ll share scenes with Sean Kanan’s Deacon Sharpe and Kimberlin Brown’s Sheila Carter.
