There’s a big return of the Newman variety at The Young and the Restless, as well as some other casting moves. Find out if any newcomers or popular stars from yesteryear are joining the show this week or in the near future or if any of your favorite actors or actresses are leaving the CBS soap.

The Week of May 27, 2024

After a year off the canvas, Reylynn Caster is heading back to Genoa City as Faith Newman, Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) daughter. Caster made her last appearance on the soap in June 2023, when she was heavily featured in Linden Ashby’s explosive return storyline as Cameron Kirsten.

Jess Walton resurfaces as Jill Abbott on Wednesday, May 29. She’ll be part of another video call, this time opposite her onscreen son, Jason Thompson’s Billy.

Elizabeth Hendrickson pops in as Chloe Fisher. On Wednesday, May 29, the actress shares scenes with Courtney Hope’s Sally.

Meanwhile, Christopher Cousins gets more screen time as Alan Laurent, Ashley’s (Eileen Davison) Parisian pal and psychiatrist. Look for the character to help guide his friend through her DID treatment this week. And Colleen Zenk is back as Jordan Howard, as Victor (Eric Braeden) makes a decision about his prisoner’s future.

Last but not least, Y&R is casting for Miriam. The character is a beautiful, intelligent and outspoken college student around 21 years old.
