The Week of December 16, 2024
Nate’s (Sean Dominic) half-brother has been cast. Nathan Owens has signed on to portray Damian, the recently revealed son of the late Nathan Hastings and Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford). Daytime audiences may remember Owens from his 2012 to 2013 rrun as Cameron Lewis on Days of Our Lives. The actor will make his debut on January 8.
Telma Hopkins is returning to Genoa City as Denise Tolliver, a role she first portrayed in 2021. The detective will be hired by Nate to find the above-mentioned Damian. The actress makes her first appearance on Thursday, December 19. The casting move reunites Hopkins with her former Half & Half Pettiford, where the pair played Phyllis and Big Dee Dee, respectively. Hopkins has appeared in numerous sitcoms, including Bosom Buddies, Gimme a Break, and Family Matters. She was also a member of the popular singing group Tony Orlando and Dawn.
Christopher Cousins is back as Dr. Alan Laurent on Thursday, December 19. The psychiatrist is called upon to hypnotize Sharon Case’s Sharon.
Vail Bloom makes another appearance as the late Heather Stevens on Thursday, December 19. The character presumably returns in a flashback scene.
Diabolical duo Ray Wise and Colleen Zenk are back, too, as their characters continue plotting against the Newman clan this week. Look for Ian to urge Jordan to play dirty on Friday, December 20.
