Two popular Abbott ladies are resurfacing on The Young and the Restless. Find out who they are, as well as if any newcomers are joining the show, if any popular stars from yesteryear are returning in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, and if any of your favorite actors or actresses are leaving the CBS soap.

The Week of March 10, 2025

Good news for fans of the Abbott family; particularly its female members. Two prominent ones are resurfacing. Beth Maitland is back as Traci Abbott on Wednesday, March 12, when the character shares surprising news with her brother, Jack (Peter Bergman). 

Look for Traci to be accompanied by her onscreen love. Christopher Cousins is back as Dr. Alan Laurent.

Meanwhile, Melissa Ordway, who shifted to recurring status in 2024, is slated to pop back in as Abby Newman Winters. Ordway took to Instagram to reveal that she’d be back in Genoa City soon “for a couple of episodes” with the Newman and Winters clans. Hopefully, she gets to interact with her Abbott side of the family too.

Conner Floyd  continues to rack up airtime as Chance Chancellor with the investigation into Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) disappearance gaining momentum. The Genoa City cop airs on Monday, March 11, Wednesday, March 12 and Friday, March 14 in scenes with Amelia Heinle’s Victoria, Joshua Morrow’s Nick, Jason Thompson’s Billy, Michael Graziadei’s Daniel and Allison Lanier’s Summer.
