Mishael Morgan is heading back to the Genoa City fold for a new story arc as Amanda Sinclair. The fan favorite has already begun filming scenes and will start airing this spring. The character made her last appearance in March of 2024.
As longtime fans know, Morgan originally joined Y&R in 2013 as Hilary Curtis. However, the character died following injuries she incurred in a car crash in 2018. The next year, the actress began a new run on the show as Hilary’s twin sister, Amanda. Morgan became the first Black actress to win a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in 2022.
Valarie Pettiford is back as Amy Lewis. She shares scenes with Jermaine Rivers, who plays her onscreen son, Damian, and Sean Dominic’s Nate on Tuesday, April 1.
Beth Maitland continues to get more screen time as Traci Abbott this week, as the mystery surrounding Alan (Christopher Cousins) continues to unfold. Look for the character to interact with Susan Walters’ Diane on Thursday, April 3 and struggle with her suspicions about Alan on Friday, April 4.
Tracey Bregman pops back as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin on Thursday, April 3. She shares scenes with Melody Thomas Scott’s Nikki.
