Y&R Alum Tyler Johnson Reveals Exciting New Project’s Premiere

The Young and the Restless alum Tyler Johnson revealed he’s coming to a small screen near you soon. The former Theo Vanderway actor stars in the second season of the TV series Sons of Thunder.

Tyler Johnson Reveals New Film Premiere

Johnson has continued his acting career with several different roles since going off-contract for Y&R. The actor took to Instagram to share some details about the upcoming Pure Flix streaming service series’ second season, which first hit airwaves back in 2019.

In his post, the actor shared a photo of himself with a fiery background looking fierce. The image indicated his character in the upcoming show is Logan “The Prospect.” A second photo appears to be a screenshot of Johnson in character wearing a sleeveless army green T-shirt and staring off into the distance with his long hair falling unstyled around his face.

He captioned the set of pictures, “Premiering tomorrow night!!! ‘Sons of Thunder: Redemption’ starring @rocky_myers  @charlene.amoia  @broadwaybarbie  @wyattraywalter, and myself, under the sage guidance of  @annarzielinski only on @pureflix!!!”

Theo Vanderway is Still Away

It’s been nearly a year since Theo appeared in Genoa City. However, that doesn’t mean the Abbott-connected character is gone for good. Currently, he’s in Paris operating the late Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) successful boutiques. In fact, his last appearance in town happened when he was in the United States on a buying trip for the boutiques he runs. So perhaps he’ll pop up again in storylines sometime soon.
