Y&R Alum Loren Lott Pays Tribute To Her Grandma
Lott penned a moving post on her social media honoring her late grandma, which you can see below. She included a video of herself and her grandma singing the hymn, Because He Lives, along with photos and video clips of them together. She wrote, “Gramcracker, I just wanna say thank you! Thank you for stepping up and being the best dad in the world (as I always joked lol). Thank you for teaching me how to drive, for home schooling me so I could do my first show, for making it to EVERY opening ever, for watching every show I was on, for half raising me, and mostly for being my best friend!
“I would look at you and cry sometimes just from being so grateful and knowing you were my temporary blessing,” she continued. “I’m so grateful grandma. I miss you already. I miss your sense of humor and our giggles and showering you with kisses, but I have no regrets. You know how much I loved you! and thank you for constantly letting me know that you loved my hugs and kisses and how proud you were of me.
“Thank you for pushing through long enough to see the premiere of The Porter,” she added, referring to her latest series. “And really thank you God for blessing us with her. Our matriarch. My queen, my hero, and now my angel. You always said tears are washing away all the bad feelings and on the other side of tears is strength. I can’t wait to get stronger from this. Please visit me in my dreams. I’ll look for you in our sunsets. I love you so much.”
Soap Hub sends its deepest condolences to Loren Lott and her family during this difficult time.
